THE PROCESS

The benefit of HDR photography is the ability to render each photo as one would see it if they were actually there. HDR blends a variety of exposures to create one harmonious photo that presents a scene as the human eye would see it.

A single exposed photo--such as that from a digital camera or smartphone--can only record detail from part of a scene, leaving other parts too light or too dark to see all the details. Something will always be lost for the prospective client.

A blended HDR photo includes far more detail than one single exposure can capture. If a property has a patio setting off the living room, people will see the detail of the outdoor scene while also being able to see the floor pattern and other details inside.

I’ll make one trip to the location, spending whatever time is needed to document a property inside and out. I’ll provide a sufficient number of photos to show the listing. Smaller properties will generally yield fewer photos than larger properties, though a smaller property with nuance and character may require more photos than a larger property that isn’t as uniquely appointed.

I’ll provide a link to an online folder where photos can be sent or retrieved. Photos will be sized for the web, and any specific size requirements you may have. Please allow up to 48 hours for processing, though I may be able to return photos sooner.
